Pixhawk 2 !?

As seen on 3DRs announcement of their new quad - SOLO, it will be using PIXHAWK 2 as flight controller. Any info on this and when will the FC only be available?

This was posted on the Solo owner's page on Facebook, by a guy who attended NAB. It's the Pixhawk 2, he said there are connections on the bottom

Wow....I just ordered AUAV-X2 from Arsovtect because its smaller than pixhawk. Now we have pixhawk2 that even smaller than AUAV.....no regret.

Pixhawk 2 is not going to be sold separately. It has 1 Ghz CPU on board and is designed to work together with the controller which also has a 1 Ghz CPU.

How did they squeeze all that into the pixhawk2? Its even smaller than the CUAV pixhack.

Time to brushup on my programming skills...looks like this will open up a whole new world when connected to an external computer/processor like odroid-c1 or similar

That's not the feeling I got when talking to the PX4 guys, and Jason Short from 3DR also confirmed that it will be sold separately. The only question is "when"!
