Premier Aircraft QQ Extra 300

We at Flex Innovations are very proud to announce our new 3D aerobatic park flier!...the Premier Aircraft QQ Extra 300!

We have it live on our web site http://www.flexinnovations.com/index...-extra300qq-10

Here a you tube video link
Premier Aircraft QQ Extra 300 (3 min 17 sec)

We put a lot of effort designing and developing the QQ Extra 300!...... from the ground-up: the airframe, propeller, servos, motor and the AURA 8 AFCS!

The Aura 8 it is really in my mind the next generation of flight controller system. Aura 8 works with all major radios including Futaba, Spektrum and Graupner. Uses satellite receivers, S-Bus or traditional receivers (via PWM).
See more at this link http://www.flexinnovations.com/index.../106-fpzaura08

We have two color scheme choices: Blue Scheme and Red scheme as you see in the pictures.

The QQ Extra 300 incorporate all the latest ideas we have from the aerodynamic and electronic point of view. In my mind this plane exceed any other airplane I did before and represents with great strength what is the best we can do today!.

I'll be here trying to answer questions......Oh it should be in stock during this summer. We will be with it at Toledo Show at Falcon Hobby Supply booth and planning to take it to SEFF and Joe Nall!.

Thanks

Quique

Looks very promising.

I want one.

I love my Visionaire, but it's worn out. Summer would be a good time to replace it.

KE Spins make me dizzy.
.... and shortlisted.

How's this compare to the EF48" extra 300 and 3dhs' 47" extra?

They are two different class of airplanes. QQ Extra is a park flyer made of EPO foam and EF/DHS are more high end performance made out of wood.
QQ Extra 300 is super PNP with Aura8 (AFCS). The plane it i ready to fly just need as satellite RX or S-Bus or traditional RX and you are up in the air. There is not building involved (assembly of few parts). In about 20-30 minutes the planes is RTF.
EF or DHS are ARF kits with not E components provide or installed (no prop either).

Price it is the other area. Ours is $239.99, the ARF run for $180 or so?....

Performance wise they are conceive different. The EF/DHS type of planes are for more advance/experience pilots. The QQ Extra 300 is broader . It flies at much slower speed (stall) more forgiven and easier to fly (intermediate and up pilot). Still very unlimited 3D aerobatic and capable to do any kind of maneuver! (very fun)

Crashes....no one like that...but it is part of the game.....the EPO material is far more resistant to crashes.

I could keep going to other areas...but I think this gives a good picture.
At the end the park flier type of planes are more of the kind of an airplane that you have always in your car to fly, to relax, have fun and sort or "careless". I think the factors mentioned above has a lot to do with that
So at the end the convenience and financial factor are clearly on the park flyer (QQ Extra 300) type of airplane.

This is my personal view and my way to see it
I hope I could help you a little.

Thanks.

Well, QQ gave me a tour of the Extra 300 this morning at Toledo. All I can say is I want one NOW. Some nice well thought out features. I love the plywood motor box, it provides a rock solid motor mount and it extends through mid fuselage so that it also supports the wing tube. We also went over the features of the flight controller/stabilizer system and it has features found in units up in the $350 range. I've known QQ for a while and not sure I've ever seen him this excited about a product. The only disappointment was that I couldn't bring one home.
