Received Neil, THANKS. Please wright all criticism here. I thing it is good idea. Because all modeller in future, who ever will build this ship will know, that hull below waterline have to by sprayed by MATT red antifouling paint. I never seen real ship, I do not have any pictures where is shown hull below waterline. I just received a copy of Tamar Manual from Model Slipway, I was thinking that English people have correct informations about paint scheme. In Model Slipway manual stays HULL BELOW WATERLINE- HUMBROL BRIGHT RED No 19. So I am sorry, hull have not correct paint.. mabye I will spray it by matt clear coat. But as a semiscale ship, is it pretty good.

I don't like telling anyone, never mind an exceptional builder such as yourself, DDG, that they have , how should I say...…...done the natural, and followed instructions only for the actual instructions to be wrong.

but for anyone else who is building a British RNLI lifeboat...……...the antifouling red has never been painted bright gloss red...….here's a few shots of some lifeboats with the correct shade of anti fouling.....a dull red oxide colour...……...although a few Slip launched Tamar's, and I think but not sure one Trent have had satin polar white anti fouling .

Even 10 minutes is well worth spending on such a beautiful boat.
I'm still trying to get my workbench clear of all the other jobs before I start on this epic! Keep working, I can't wait to see the finished article. AND, when it is' baptised' in the wet stuff, try and get some video for us all to watch in awe.
