Another update:

An additional update:

The tires are hung, used chain in scale to stay accurate, scuffed the tires up a bit so they’re not so shiny.

Rudder is mounted and linkage tested, ballasting was determined for a first run.

The cage is complete except for some touch up, the workdeck ladders are next.

The navigation and work lights need to be done, radar cover, life rings and a few other details, should be ready for an upcoming event on the end of the month at Spreckels Lake.

The outdoor Helper Cat was present for these pictures.

Time to begin seriously considering what project is next, there are several to choose from.....

Wow

Tim think long and hard on your next build. Each one is better than the last. Going to become impossible to top that next last one!

Looks great. Love the subject on this build.

Choices ~

A tough choice ~

This morning a box from UK arrived containing a rare Keil kraft Veron Police Launch made in 1976, been checking ebay UK every day for Years looking for one of these, finally one came up and the price was right ( it was found in the attic of an old house, the Lady just wanted to sell it Now )...

Have plans but this will be more fun.

A complete refurb Sure ...

Then there are the other three complete kits that came from the same outfit this Mooring Tug came from, any of the three would be fun but the call of the Damen Stan Tug is very strong ...

No way to predict painting weather these days so a choice has to be made soon.

Callie Graphics

Mr. Sylvain, the letters came with the kit, Super high quality rub - on vinyl letters.

You can get the same thing, in Any size or style from Callie Graphics, just send her a picture of what you want and she will do it for about $10.00 !

Many members here patronize that company.
