Building NES Pitch Moth
After only 7 years of letting this kit sit around and gather dust, I decided to build it. The Pitch Moth is a light hand launch glider that Northeast Sailplanes offered many years ago. It's my first HLG, so I'm not sure where I'll fly it or if I'll even be able to!
But I think I'll be able to figure it out. This kit has been designed for the ultimate light weight, but I think that also means fragile.
I've got the pod complete, though not painted yet, and I have the tail feathers all ready for covering. The wing is white foam that's about 1/4 balsa sheeted -- in other words just the leading edge and trailing edge are sheeted. I'm almost done with the outer two wing panels, but still have the two inner ones to do.
