At least two...from Wisconsin!

I got my cataracts fixed last summer, so now I can see the far pole! And my plane! And your plane for combat, Erik!

Looking forward to the gathering.

Going to try to come out, unfortunately that's the weekend I need to move my daughter back home from college, so I am hoping to come out early and pick up some stuff on my way home since K-State is about 1/2 way between Shawnee and Wilson. We'll just have to see how it all works out. Maybe her last final will be early in the week instead of Friday.

Do you have any links to planes that will meet the specifications of the different events? My Uncle has attended in the past (and plans to this year), but I never have. I have a very limited number of planes, so I need to figure out what I may have, what I need, and what I can afford. Appreciate any help you may be able to give.

Thanks,

Chris

Pretty sure the Choff is looking links to kits for the event categories.

Here are a few:

Combat:
Wicked Wing, a.k.a. Bee2: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=71587
or better yet buy it from Andrew, who actually attends the event!
http://canuckengineering.com/new/content/bee-2
or the "Prairie Dog" from Jack (I don't know if his shop is open yet, after his move):
http://www.leadingedgegliders.com/ca...PrairieDog.php
or others...

One Design:
Leading Edge Gliders, again:
http://www.leadingedgegliders.com/ca..._LEG_ONE_D.php
or from Larry of Magnum Models, one of the coordinators of the event (actually his wife does most of the work :
http://www.magnumrcmodels.com/Cobra-Racer-ODR-CR1.htm
or scratch build, as I've done, following the specs.

Warbird:
Lots from Leading Edge and several excellent models from Magnum Models (which have proven well at MWSC).

Open event:
Whatever. Some pretty pricy planes covering the course in this event.

Hope this helps, maybe some others will chime in with other suggestions.

Hope to see you there!
