Question

Any Lone Wolf - Off The Grid Fliers in Ventura

I'm looking for informal, non-club sailplane sites around Ventura, Ojai, Casitas, and vicinity, and closer than Santa Barbara. Something like hike-in slope sites, and grassy open areas for electric gliders. Appreciate any leads. Tnx.

Not sure if this is still seen or not but I too would like to know where to fly in Oxnard. The AMA fields that are local are "Full" to capacity and are not accepting new members...

Racer_X, I will reply to your PM. I would think that any AMA affiliated club would welcome new members, never heard of a club being "Full".

I talked to the Camarillo flying circus and they said they are at the 125 member capacity set by the county and that they have a 5 person wait list.

Thanks for the PM reply
