That Expander module communicates by I2C bus so you'll have a lot of work to get it communicating with FrSky.

You'd need to now the exact communications address ID and data protocol.

Hi Flavio,
Contrario to what Garris2 said, this (old) module I own doesn’t work on i2c like the new gps ET. I own this gps ET V4 mediatek (that was plug to osd pro via e logger v4) and it could work I think after change the rate to 1hz and 9600 bps.
I know it because I successfully plug in to arduplane 3.2.3 in gps type ‘auto’(1) with success.
GPS v4 wire:
- red Vcc
- white ground
- brown Rx
- yellow Tx

(Yes ! Brown is NOT the ground but Rx)
Default config is 38k.

This gps work really really well and fix is solid, far better than ublow. I really trust eagle tree hardware without issues at all.

So I wanted to give this a go so I can have some telemetry on my Taranis when not using FPV. My reciever is a X4R. Seems to be some conflicting info in this thread on whether or not it will work. Can someone confirm this works with full Vector and X4r? I dont want to go thru the trouble of building a cable for it and finding out it doesn't work correctly. Plus I'm running OpenTX 2.2 so there's that too.

Hello,

I flying with Frsky Taranis and i receive the telemetry from the vector (after i made a cable from Uart to S.port) on R9m receiver
The telemetry i got is:
Volt, A, Speed, Alt, GPS and more.
What i don't see is:
Hdg and mah (how much used) - but i still ok with that.
someone get something else?

Also,
The telemetry work with Delay! 2-3 sec
and the air speed receive the telemetry to the Taranis with delay.
I set up stall speed with alert on my Taranis and because the delay is not work perfect.

Now. on my second plane i have Frsky air speed sensor (that frsky made)
and is working perfect without any delay.

I tried to cancel the log to the SD (maybe is make delay) but no change.
Also, some times i "lost telemetry" then is back after a few sec

Please advise

ok, so after i did some test today i disconnected the vector from the R9M receiver and i connected the Frsky Air sensor - Work perfect.
So that mean the frsky system work fine. the delay come from the vector - 100% !
