help me find the C.G. of a fuselage
I have constucted my first scracth built fuselage and now I need help to find my C.G. for this fuselage. I'm not sure about this but when I'm done am I suppose to find the the balance of my plane using the fuselage C.G. for the wing C.G.?

Generally the plane's CG is determined by the wing, not the fuse. A rough estimate of this for a plain wing (no sweep, no taper) is 25% of the distance from the leading edge to the trailing edge. This is where the whole plane should balance. There's a lot more to it than this but it's a start. -Mike |
