What could possibly go wrong!!
If its anything near as good as your prototype you will sure have a winner, sorry I won't be able to go to the Chiltern bash and see it. Have fun.

Looking good Steve, your usual neat build. Bet the models track really well with all that side area.

See you Saturday

Another day out at the Chiltern fly in. Rather windy but in the afternoon it calmed down and I gave the AC20 an outing.

All started well with a grounds take off . A couple of circuits then disaster. Turning into wind on a left turn and it seemed to tuck and in she went. The left leg took the impact and unfortunately the mast burst out the side of the fuselage.

Some uhu por and some ply and we are sorted.

Still not sure about the tail stiffness so I have added foam on both sides like the second. Seems stiffer.

New mast made and with the head position the same a revised mast angle into the fus gives a much more scale line

Sure no problem . I am considering to add a little light weight glass cloth to the boom, not decided yet.

Would be good to see others so yes Tim and I will make the plan for others once we are happy

Some lightweight epoxy cloth added to the boom... That should sort the torsional stiffness with minimal weight

Steve ,
I really like this model and would like to have a go, any chance to have the details in time to bring it to Winterton?
