Also, the two bladed prop has nothing to do with belly landing. Its about speed. A 2 bladed prop makes a more efficient speed propeller. 3 or 4 blades requires lower kv motor, higher amp output ESC and more cost to the customer. Also to note, there is a plastic skid that covers a good portion of the belly of the model. This skid is also painted on the inside, rather than the outside so you don't need to worry about chipping or rubbing the paint off. I don't suggest landing it on a gravel driveway, but it should hold up to a good amount of abuse. Seth Arnold Horizon Hobby |

I honestly think that you could have targeted more people had you done plastic gear mounts and plug-in optional fixed gear like you did on the Navy-Sabre.
Sure, 100mph is nice, but now you're going to get a lot of people who won't be interested at all because of the lack of gear. Would plastic gear mounts have really been that big a detriment? FMS is advertising 100+mph on their 980mm with retracts, flaps and scale props. I'm really glad you guys thought out of the box with this one and I hope it's a trend that continues! I don't think this one's for me, tho. Keep up the good work! |

Haven't seen the specs posted yet so here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/rare-bea...-basic-efl1250
Under 35" wing span. Flying weight ~46 ozs. No wonder it's minus any landing gear features. |

you can't please everybodyI love the simplicity of no gear and no flaps. No good runways near me .whenever you put landing gear on these things they always knows over. That's another reason I I feel the fj2_fury is great. I enjoyed the first habu way more in the second version. The extra weight slowed it down and made it stall easier. I had nothing but problems with version 2. I love simplicity. Also keeps costs down on products that crash and end up in trees. Great plane great price point.

That is tiny. That's even smaller than the 980mm FMS planes. That's heading toward micro territory. At $200 for a PNP. |
