Swappable OV-10 Bronco, PLANS, Build Video to follow!

***UPDATE>>>REVISED PLANS IN POST #13***

Hi guys, I'm a recent Flite Test convert and loving it. Been flying R/C for twenty something years and recently started designing. I'm no expert in CAD, but I've put together a set of Beta plans for a swappable OV-10. I'd like any input y'all might have.

This was created in Sketchup, and exported using a PDF conversion program. For some reason some of the lines are a little more faint than others, and I'm not sure why. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate that help. Color coding is FT standard (Black=Cut, Red=Score 50%, Blue=Reference).

I plan to start building today. I've read other OV-10 build threads but I wanted something maybe a little simpler. Y'all are welcome to try your hand at the build and share your suggestions.

WS - 40" (each half is 20", use this to check your scaling when you print)
Wing joins like a Fowl Flyer, makes in to a one piece. Also, the wing is designed to be permanent but you could easily modify it to rubber band. The spar is overlapped and glued together. The canopy is intended to work like the FT 3D canopy.
If all goes well everything should self align.

TO ANYONE UNFAMILIAR WITH BUILDING FLITE TEST STYLE I WILL HAVE A BUILD VIDEO SOON HOPEFULLY!!!

I'll see what I can do! It's a mess though haha. Every time I cut away or copy a part to edit I just move to a new open space and leave the rest behind. I am currently modifying the wing, didn't like it when I built last night. Should have the new one built in an hour or so. Since everything more or less connects to the wing, I feel like it's the first thing that needs to be perfect!

woofyflier, I think that the pods are plenty strong. Especially once they get the swappable pods inside, which will basically be like adding a box spar. If you are unfamiliar with swappable pods, check them out over at the Flite Test website, they are ingenious! I'm working a lot of hours this week but I should still be able to make some progress. I have updated my plans, and will be posting them very soon!

Ok here's updated plans, in large format so you can tile from Acrobat, which I think is the easiest way. Fitment should be pretty good but let me know if you decide to build one and if you run into any problems! Only thing we lack now is servo placement and CG, but neither should be hard to figure out..
