Thank you.

Front end sub-assembly is complete.

At this point I am thinking of a Leopard Racing color scheme.

Awesome! Finally I can get parts to keep my GPV1 running.

When will you be posting the Shapeways store?

Also will you be releasing any of the files for those of us with 3D printers to print at home? (Not the crazy parts that require accuracy but more like the triple tree/crash back mount which always breaks).

Cheers
Tim

You'll note that the rear fender only has one bolt in it, that's because the rear holes were off by a half mm. I have since corrected all the pieces making them stronger or thicker or realigned depending on the outcome.

The front fender was a perfect fit, though a but thin for my liking, so I have thickened it up a bit. On the next order, I will see how my changes worked out. Also I have done the steering rod holder (not ordered yet).

The chain tension devices are particularly small and i had to get creative with the file to get the printing done. I am still working out the drive, since i have this awesome rear sprog (Thanks Toyranosaur!) but no 11T drive sprocket. I have been working on putting in a Kyosho 12T...it's tight. In fact, my intention is to do away with the clever system, in favor for a simpler one, which should present more options for setup.....and a few ideas as well. More to come.

The driveshaft has been moved 2.5mm to the rear, eliminating the need for the chain tension on the shaft itself. New bearing retainers (3x6x2.5) have been mounted on each end of the shaft.

Should the chain need any tension, there will be something more conventional on the swingarm.

Can't you just take the latest bikes of 2015 and make it scaled down to accommodate a nitro with 3 speed? Even go all the way and make wiring for working lights.

I think I can go ahead and call this project final. I didn't do the chain or put in a steering damper, but I am satisfied with the updated pieces. I widened the body a little to clear the spur gear (which also has a drawing issue), but will scale it down again to accommodate plastic thickness.

The rider (not shown) also needs another pass.
