Wow .. thanks for the Comps, BrianC :-)

Jurgen has a knack for design ;>}

I started building mine and noticed that it could go together better if it had tabs and slots.
So I have started figuring that out in a 3D Cad environment.

Also For the More Macho guys I have taken the original design and DOUBLED IT !
Yes a 46" span Monster Judi Jet ski !

It consumes 5 full sized 1000mmx700mmx6mm sheets of Depron .

I'll be reporting on how things are going with it shortly.

I LIKE the Seaplane variant for Both Pond and Grass.

Best

Although this is cool stuff, I did not give anyone permission to manufacture and sell my design.
I gave Jurgen Be my blessing on his modifications and resulting write-up for Foamie magazine, but I in no way gave up my rights to the name and design for Judi Jetstream.
Whats the deal? The plans were for scratchbuilders, not for profit "factory manufacture". I am angry beyound belief!

April Fool!!! (Gotcha)

This is cool stuff. I'm flattered to see my work enjoyed by you scratchbuilders. I have no issues with Bob selling my design. Enjoy. And good luck with the builds.

Thanks guys. Its good to participate in a joke every now and then.
Well, looks like I've been away from rc stuff for a bit like three years. Maybe more. This thread is indeed a nice welcome back party. I've got eye surgury soon. Flying will be fun again once I can see clearly. Enjoy guys.

Great to see a post (posts) from you, Rusty! I, for one, have missed your interesting and fun designs, as well as your quick wit and helpful nature. Best hopes for success with your cataract surgery.

Looking forward to your next flight video and your next fanciful design.

OK K OK I was away at my sisters place , about 3 hrs drive.
Gone Monday thru Wed afternoon.
A pleasant but b o r i n g drive thru Indiana.

So, Wheeeew I am glad I missed the festivities.
Although .. you had me going for a bit , until I read the rest of the thread.

Not to worry re cataract surgery, My mom had both done 20 yrs ago
so things should be pretty well practiced and professional by now.

well .. backto work

Bob

PS

Turn the lights back on !

Tony... Thank you. I miss this hobby. I still have the box if Model Aiplane Foam hiding under my bed. I also still have the unfinished plans for a full fuselage prop jet (Javelynn) I was working on way back then. It will be fun finishing that one soon.

Bob... Eye surgury will be nice to have. Its been too long moping about. Clear vision will be nice.
Yup, that big one looks good. I bet it would fly nice enough. Good luck on this project.

That's awesome! I guess when you say 2xs size . You have to think 2xs high, wide and deep

Do you have a price in the 2xs size?

Not until I get it flying.

But as I stated above it is 5 full sheets of depron ( not 1/2 sheets ),
It would be a 10 sheets that way.
My box will be 2 1/2 " thick maybe more with packing.

Shipping Weight oughta be around 4 lbs ( NOT FLYING weight )

I'm using two thinner strips of CF, so they bend easier as a single spar.
Plus two more on each elevon as a stiffener.

My brother has been in town all week so building has been stalled out.
But back to work on Monday :-)

I am also working on a Mud Duck "LIKE" design using big chunks of 1/2 construction foam.
Pink or Blue or Green. This one will be an Ag wagon caricature.

Anyone used the Green yet ?
Lowes has it.
It's from Pactiv
