I have been shopping at R C Country for many years. I live in lincoln and have to drive past several other hobby shops to get to R C Country but it's worth the trip. Very well stocked, friendly, not pushy. Any problems (very few) have always been taken care of in a fast and polite manner.

For more information on the store there is a review of the store in the Ezone archieves. The paintings of warbirds on the walls is worth a look see if you are in the neightborhood.
Despite all the GWS planes they have they were still out of Slow Sticks last time I was in there...Not sure if they can't keep them in stock or simply can't get them right now.
I'll back up that they are friendly people to deal with and Terry Bratton is very helpful and besides knowing gas and electric he is also an expert on gliders...selling them and flying them! Mike
Fred's pretty good on Saturdays. Don't want him getting a swelled head. Mike

Just got back from RC Country and they got about 2 dozen Slow Sticks out on the floor so those that want them can get them for at least the next day or two. Mike
Fred: Is Macy's making an inflatable Bronk balloon for the Thanksgiving Day parade?

I buy most of my stuff from RC Country - my Radio, E-Starter, Slow Stick, TM (RIP) and my batteries have all come from there.

I've bought some stuff online when RC Country didn't have it in stock (EPS-300C with D gearing) but usually I'll take the drive down to Folsom Blvd - then I'll stop by Corti Bros. just down the road and pick up a bottle of gourmet wine

I've shopped RC Country in Sac, great store, amazing selection, but $26 for a GWS 400C motor and gearbox combo? Yeah, I paid it since I made the 50 mile trip...woulda lost more in gas money by not buying it.

Now THIS is a realistic price on this motor/gearbox set:

That's why I disagree Horizon and many other USA makers to set up price likewise, while gave the LHS a huge discount rate.

This will cause the price range too much wide differance from shop to shops.

Looks like the makers are very kind to offer the profit for LHS? But badly hurt their reputation in the after!

How do you think?
