Red,

Good slate of events. Olympia always likes to fill in the blanks. July looks like a "no brainer' I think we'd be open to "druthers". Usually we run 3 contests and some clinics.

Let us know what might fit in to other SAS events and what might not.

Thanks,

Gary

I'll pass it on to Russ and the other decision makers.

About 26 miles through desert. It would be too expensive to take a cab, you'll need to rent a car, or carpool.

I was thinking of going, but its not going to happen I hope this becomes a yearly thing, because I'd love to go next year.

Think I'm in

Jennifer and I are thinking of a trip, and I will probably head for Las Vegas. The only problem, if I go it will be very windy.

Hmmm, sounds almost like old home week. If my back keeps getting better, I'll see if I can't make it up there. Be nice to see the gang.

Looking at the possible calendar dates for Olympia, I'm wondering about the viability of a July contest. Last year we had the fewest contestants in July. I notice that SASS has no July contest. Is the consensus in SASS that it's best to avoid July, because of the possibilities of conflicts with vacations? Or would it be desireable to have the July contest?

Interest in feedback, either on this thread or by PM.

Thanks,

Gary

Hey Gary,

My vote would be to have an Oly July contest. It fits nicely in our open month slot and I for one target that as the must make Oly.

Not sure why attendance lagged last year.... July and August are of course the busiest vacation months. That's one of the main reasons why we moved our two day to Sept.

We'd sure like to break the 20 mark this year. Came close, but not quite.
