Perfectly capable of non 3D applications but the camera is for 3D use.

That is sexy. I'm just amazed at how many people have like 4 pairs of goggles, 12 parkflyers, quads....

I make good money, wife does to, we live well within our means and dropping 550 on goggles is a pretty decent investment.

I hope to acquire some of these in the future, or just sell the 3d camera without goggles.

Some of the same questions:

What is the field of view for these goggles?

Do they have a DVR?

What is the pixel resolution of the displays?

Is transmission in standard definition?

Is the receiver separate? It appears to be in the lower left corner of the storage pouch? If not, what is that component?

Is that the 3D camera in the lower right of the case? What are its specifications? Is the distance between the cameras fixed or adjustable (and by how much)?

Looking forward to the answers.

Thomas and I have both been running SkyZone V1 for over 12 months now and love them. Fingers crossed these support DVR functionality!

Any retrofit to previous non-3D goggles? I just got a pair last summer and would LOVE to be able to upgrade as opposed to try and sell mine and buy these new.

Thanks!
Jason.

Field of view, in essence how wide (or narrow) is the area you can see.

FOV demonstration, 70degree vs 146degree (0 min 33 sec)
