Rich I hope it goes OK with the body on, the Corfu one with the Heli Canopy was bad.

At that time larger fin area was reckoned to be the answer and I have printed larger rudders for the body test.

The problem at the moment is lack of power and am looking at new motor and esc for 4s lipos

Been out to the RC Hotel for a week teaching helicopter pilots and had the chance to fly all my old Autogyros

Only got photos of the Wots Wot Gyrobut had a great week.

Went out today with the Xenon to test with the full body.

Managed a few hops but it needs more power

Went out yesterday with the new more powerful motor

What a difference, lots of extra power to attempt some circuits

Had a little problem with one of the circuits and hit the fence,

Easy fix and will be out again soon

Tried a hat cam to see if I can get better video of any test flights.

Well that's a pretty stupid place to put a fence...exactly in the same place that you want to fly your model

I blame the electric fence it repels the horses but attracts model like a magnet

Got it repaired will try heavier blades and keep the bike clips on standby.

Should have worn the bike clips.

At one point when turning down wind a gust pushed the model down glad I had surplus power with the new motor

I need to be patient and wait for a calmer day for the next flights

Had a couple of good flights today testing heavier blades.

But the electric gremlins struckthe new motor failed in flight and the model had a heavy autorotation landing with some damage, but fixable.

Will upload the incident soon

Chris did not manage any smoke but certainly smoked the body and tail fins

The model is repaired and will be tested again without a body and try and get it stable
