Question

FR-SKY Taranis and DSM Protocol

Hi
If I want to control a model with my Taranis Plus using the DSM DSX protocol, is the Orange module the only option, just that I am not a big fan of the Orange line of Radio gear?
Thanks Steve

Three main options:
1. Orange RX module (which works very well though the antenna arrangement is awkward, DSM2/DSMX) $30.
2. Spektrum DM9 (DSM2 only). $110 including a receiver that can probably be sold for $50-60.
3. "hack" module from DX4e or DX5e transmitter (DSMX or DSM2 depending on Tx). Requires additional parts and soldering. $10-$60 depending how you do it. 6 channels only.

Watch the classifieds for a DM9 module. I got mine from Esprit Models for $59 shipped.
