I saw another with the Rocker Covers so I may be trying that one yet today as well.

I need some Black PLA as I only have ABS currently and it's not as easy to work with.

Looks great, Bob!

I like the cooling fin detail a lot. In Black PLA with some copper and silver painted highlights ... steampunk!

Finally getting back to reporting progress here.

The CAD design constraints for 3D printing are a bit more restrictive than some other uses.

But I think I can do it now.
I've order some Black PLA Filament for the Cyl Head Printing in Black.

This AM I went out and CNC cut all the Foam parts plus the 3mm/1/8" lite Ply parts. Please See Pix.
I see now that I didn't get pix of all the sheets as cut. Oh well ...

I know realize that all this sheeting doesn't pack up well into a single Box.
So it's now two boxes of 16"x35"x2" - 2# 6 oz plus 40"x13"x2" - 1# 14 oz.

Next I'll go make on for myself :>}

Jurgen ... gorgeous build and it looks like a great flyer. I hope mine turns out as nice!

Bob ... I'm fine with the white. Don't mind painting the base color black.

Quick shout out to Bob at Hoosier Cutout Service. I received my LISA 200 kit today. Both boxes were expertly packed and nothing was damaged or bent. The quality and finish of the CNC foam and ply parts is excellent ... a tremendous value, IMHO. The 3D printed engine parts are fantastic, especially the raised fins. I can't wait to begin building the first and only LISA 200 in the US! Now, were is that German translator app ... <grin>

Well ... thanx for the comps.
I just do what I can.

About the 3D raised fins parts.

I discovered a "LEAK" in my extruder today.
That explains the slight brown streaks in your parts and others that I have done.
I was really surprised when I discovered this problem.
All that was necessary was to tighten the Nozzle and Hot End Block.
If you're not going ot paint them I now have Black Filiment so I could get
a reprint for you.

I have a TXlater App that I used last Fall when I did a Med Cruise.
And thers is one that translates SIGNS via a photo/Camera pic.

Very generous of you to reprint the parts, but not necessary. They will get painted, so the brown streaks are not an issue.

Wheew !

Some modelers are so picky.

then again this IS the Scratch builder forum and mod should be somewhat expected
yet easy to deal with.

I look forward to you build.

Been looking for the "free" plans for Lisa but somehow have not found them, at least not at the link provided earlier. Have they disappeared ?
