I taped up the bottom of the wing. I was about to start on the top but my friend is here - came a lot earlier than expected - so I'm most likely done for the day. The written instructions are great but the build video really clarifies the way to put on the tape. Time = 15 minutes... which includes the time it took to watch the video a few times. If I built another one it would probably take less than 10 minutes.
Here are a few pics. Apologize for the quality, but the battery in my real camera died, so these were taken with my phone. ImagesView all Images in thread |

Had a great dinner, my friend left, so I did a little more taping.

My color scheme.
I think I'll be able to see this, and pick it out from the rest of the Assassin crowd. |

I had some "good ole rattle can" paint, but it was the same colors that I have used on other foam planes. I was tired of them, and quality may be an issue as the paint is old. So I had enough excuses to buy new paint. I went for the colors you see in the pic. It is not the Krylon paint that he recommended (Krylon Fusion), but it is a Krylon brand for wood, fabric, plastics, etc. It worked well. We will see how it looks once I laminate it. I know I have got to be careful in the lamination as I don't want to make a mistake and pull the lamination off of the paint to "start over". I am pretty sure that the paint will come up with the lamination if I do that.

The bottom of the wing is more simple.

Thanks for the confirmation. I thought I was hearing him correctly. I'm going to Michael's to pick up some Testors rattle can. Never had a problem with them before on foam. Figured if the foam can stand CA, it could stand some spray paint.
I like the scheme, looks great! |

Got some more work done tonight:
Tomorrow is painting, especially if I don't fly. Weather doesn't look favorable at this time. ImagesView all Images in thread
