Anyone seen the Kavan Ford Tri-Motor on floats?

I spotted this on Tower the other day. Has anyone seen one yet? Looks very nice. I'm particularly pleased that this version has 3 motors, rather than 2 plus a dummy nose prop.

Has any one built and flown one yet. I almost bought one on vacation but already had to buy more luggage to get my toys home.

fellow who flies with us at the local pond in Chilliwack bought one. It was almost impossible to fly, especially off water. It would not stay straight on the takeoff run, and would jump out of water too soon, stall and nose in. That's if you could even get it to taxi long enough to get it in the air. He tried it at the grass strip " to work out the bugs " , and that's where the model met it's ultimate end. Nasty little devil in the air.... definately he's not going to replace it.
