Yes that is a big battery. My 2s hcp100 conversions only run 300mah. Tried a 450 mah but it was too heavy. Mind you I have bigger escs etc to add to my weight.

The new style packaging (or lack thereof) makes me very worried. Now I profess I'm not an expert in packaging, but the new style looks very flimsy. I hope that spinarnd rushed the assembly line worker and they forgot to include the extra packaging inside the box.

The box has been specially designed so that the internal structure reinforces the external structure. A lot of testing was carried out to see if it will handle the stresses of shipping and mishandling... We are very confident that the HCP100S will not be damaged in the shipping process.

Awesome, whats the auw? Does it need to be absolutely level to not drift in the direction to which was leaning to during initialisation, like the hcp100? That annoys me. Mcpx can be initialised upside down or tipped over to the side if you want, it will hover level. Not the case with hcp100.

Seems like alot of nit pickers for helis they don't have. Box looks fine to me.
Battery is huge and hope power to match. Anyway looks good and wait and see.
I rather have a good flying bird then pretty box it came in.

+1

... and maybe I missed it in the flurry of activity over on the main HiSky thread, but has there been any confirmation yet on which standard HCP100 spares are compatible with the "S"?
