Binding OrangeRX R620 Receiver with Spektrum DX6i Transmitter

I just receiver some OrangeRX R620 Receivers from HobbyKing. I tried to bind them with my Spektrum DX6i transmitter. The fast flashing led went out & remained on constant. I assumed it was bound properly. When I took the bind plug off, connected some servos & switched on the transmitter there was a continuous jittering noise from all servos & they did not work at all. The same thing happened with a second R620 I tried. To check I went through the same procedure with my OrangeRX T-SIX transmitter & both receivers worked OK.
Am I doing something incorrect with my DX6i or should I assume that the R620 is not compatible with my DX6i.
I would appreciate any comments.

The R620 binds in DSM2 11ms mode and this seems to be a problem for the DX6i. It works OK with other Spektrum and JR DSM transmitters and with the Orange module. There were reports of a similar problem between the DX6i and certain early Lemon receivers.

Hope this helps-

If you are having trouble binding to the R620 such as twitching servos with no response and no motor response,
I found an answer on youtube. The R620 seems to be a high speed 11ms receiver. Dx6i or higher has an 11ms setting .

DX6i:
Adjust List->Setup List->Modulation Type 11-> [Click scroll wheel]->DSM2 Only DSM-2 High Speed Reciever. Save the settings then bind. It worked for me very we...
