You Muricans are always complaining about the price.
I just wish we could get it this cheap in the UK!

Lol.

You have to appreciate what a short time my models last. That's about $200/hr for me.

It's all in the Blades!

Lets hope it draws in a few more gyronuts, it seems to fly very well

Though, I have to say I think it fell out the top of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Reminds me of the icon a little bit?
It hurts me to say this but I think Mario will be able to improve its hidious looks.

And the gent from Hobby King tells us that if the blades should slow down in flight ..it's just a matter of hitting the prerotor again to get them up to speed......wow... you can tell he knows all about it. Think that I'll give it a miss..............but I wonder if I'll get to see any at my local flying club ?
Rich.......please don't get him going again....you know what he's like.
Happy Landings

Arg, I was in until I found out it uses a 4 cell battery.... Now Im out..... I didn't realize it was that much bigger than the auto-G. 3 cell 2200 is as big as I will ever go. I wonder if one could just use a higher KV motor? I guess considering it uses a 50 amp ESC on 4 cells, probably not...

Also, you CAN just hit the pre-rotator in flight if your blades get too slow. Many people do it on the auto G/2 It has a one way bearing so that once the airflow gets the blades going faster than the pre-rotator it disengages. You could leave the pre-rotator going all the time if you wanted, and didn't mind the extra battery drain....

Flies good - but my old auto-G flies better: with a 4s-setup itīs faster, hovers better, can fly barrel-rolls , loops and stall turns. This big one seems to be a bit underpowered like the old one, too. But a nice autogyro anyway and seems to be worth the money. Enjoy!
