F-86 Sabre jet video!

If you go to my website and click on the video link up top, there will be a video of Jerry Smalls and Don Downings F-86 at the Bedford Boys Ranch. It is powered with the EDF-50 from GWS and i think they are running an 8cell nimh 300 mah pack not sure though. I just really thought this was a neat plane and wanted to share it with everyone.

I'm sure it's nice, but I can't play windows-meta-whatever, only microsoft products can do that. Can we have an MPEG next time please?

I am assuming that the foam for the F-86 is 2 or 3 mm. I have been looking for an alternative to taking the paper off of foamboard. I found the fanfold foam for subfloors but it is 1/4" thick. I think that it would work but it would be extra weight.

Guess I'm spoiled.... I downloaded the mpeg in 15 seconds..... Gotta love broadband The Sabre looks awesome! Is it able to climb? Was he just keeping it low because of the spce restrictions or does it need more power? Really cool even if it can't go vertical

hey that was neat .. i wonder why they didnt op to use 150n nicads from sanyo same physical size but would fly with the same amount of power on just 7cells save lil weight and would be lil more punchy in the dead stale air in side that gym.... you could also just make a 8cell pack of 150n for 17% over all voltage increase over the 300nmh... at near same weight . or since you want all that run time with the 300 just shorten the run time back down to by sliding in a second EDF unit wired to give ya more thrust.... . i would like to know the duration on 300nmh.. and and top end speed and minimum speed.. as well as who has for sale the optional brushless motor for this gws fan.. psssssssssttttt word is on the street a micro turbin propane burner with a half inch rotor spinning out 18.7 oz of thrust full throttle.. and runs on a 3/4 oz fuel bladder ... for 8mins.... the whole thing counting the electronics and fuel weigh 2.53oz and will be for sale in your dreams this summer stay tuned.....
