If it has a different fuselage, a bigger rotor - and only one - it`so different to a Kwirl that I probably can`t help you.

One of my fellow Modell Aviator writers, Lutz Näkel, built this wonderful Cabin Kwirl. Look at the details! Maidened today, flies very well.

I am a great lover of Al Foots Twirl.I still have an enlarged version in my shed for calm day flying but this has really sparked my enthusiasm to build this contra rotating version.
I have no 3mm depron at the moment so will probably start my build in the new year but really looking forward to giving this one a go.
Just noticed Lockeys 150% version for 6mm depron so may give that one a go as I like the larger models.

How long must the skewers become?
The longest I have found here in Sweden is 280 mm, including the taper at one end.

Jeff, You need an outrunner with around 20g weight and around 1500kV on 2 or 3 cell 450 - 800 mAh lipo.
Wattage should be around 60W.

Tomas, your skewers should work fine. Maybe you have to move the distance pieces for the dihedral a bit to get the right angle because of the the tapered ends.
6° or 2cm at the tips. I guess a bit less should be no problem.
