Shockflyer on a sim!

Hey guys I just got the upgraded Reflex XTR sim and guess what, you can fly a shockflyer on it!

This is so awesome! I might never leave the house again

XTR looks great, like it puts that latest 3D video card to work! I am wondering though how the physics accuracy is compared to the other sims where 3d type flying is concerned. I've been practicing rolling harriers and blenders in Realflight G2 and real life(!) while also studying a lot of the videos of aerofly pro and reflex XTR.

I've found that G2 is pretty good overall but when 3d stuff is involved it hiccups quite a bit... not to mention those heavily modified fantasy-land planes for 3D that are totally unrealistic...

So, thinking of getting aerofly or XTR... if XTR is 90% as good as aerofly in the ACCURATE CLOSE TO REAL LIFE 3D dept I think I'll go for the eye candy... comments?!?!

Aerofly Pro has a Shockflyer download too. I realy like AFP for 3D stuff much better than G2 (I have both) I'll have to try the new Reflex sim though!

Here's where to get the Shockflyer for AFP: It's under IPACS, Aerofly Pro, Airplanes, page 1. http://www.rc-sim.de/dl_engine_eng/i...6f18c1&start=0 Just register with the site first, then go for it! Hundreds of planes for all the major sims. My all time fav. for 3D is the Katana for AFP. Best sim 3D airplane out there IMHO.

The shocky feels pretty close to real life. Discrepencies I have noticed so far are it doesnt settle into rolling harriers as easily as the real thing, tork rolls a little too easily. Knife edge is a bit to solid, reflex must not factor in tail twist

I got the shocky mainly for my dad and brother to fly as I just fly mine in my backyard. The main reason I got the sim was for Helis though and it rocks for that!
I havent flown aerofly pro so I cant really comment, although alot of really good flyers speak highly of AFP so I would imagine it is great. Compared to my friends G2 reflex is king. I get bored of his G2 in 5 minutes and can use reflex for at least 30 till my interest wanders.

Msm, the sim will be available from MRC Altec for distrubution in the US and from the Reflex website for other countries.

Website is www.modelrectifier.com for reflex in the US
