Mks hv6100

I was talking to Thomas Cook at the Visalia Soaring Festival last month about the MKS 6100 servos that I won in the F3J raffel. He had my servos on hand but then he told me about the new High Voltage servos about to be released. I begged him to let me swap the standard 6100s for the new HV6100 and he agreed.

I've been using the 6100s on every position in my ALES ships and on rudder and ailerons on my TD ships with great success. Once MKS released the HV6625 servos I made the switch and started using a 2 cell LiFe or LiPo pack but I needed to use the inline voltage regulator with the 6100s. Well, not any more!

The specs on the servo are as follows:

2.6 kg-cm (36.11 oz-in) @ 6.0 volts Speed 0.14
3.0 kg-cm (41.66 oz-in) @ 7.4 volts Speed 0.11
3.4 kg-cm (47.21 oz-in) @ 8.2 volts Speed 0.10

Best,
Jim
