VTOL Fixed Wing UAV

Hello guys,

I want to built a fixed wing UAV with capability to do vertical takeoff and landing. I am gonna built a conventional type with quadrotor. Before i start to built it, i need guidelines to do so, from conceptual design to detail design.

Thank you!

Sorry but to most of us "fixed wing", "conventional type" and "quadrotor" are very different things. So exactly which of them is it that you are planning to build ?

If you have no previous experience of building and flying model aircraft, you are probably in for a lot of surprises, (not all good).

Then you are looking for the old Vertigo design from about 25 years ago. Used mechanical gyros and .46 ducted fan engine. Building that got a local guy in the UAV industry.

Here is a link for plans.......those things that people used to build off of years ago.

If the OP requests technical advice as if ordering a slimy cheeseburger, I solemnly vow to give him my longest and dullest blank-eyed stare before slowly punching the wrong order into the register.
