thinking about it.... dont really have a plane for the fermin though yet..... i like showing up to watch/ hang at fermin then i sneek to whitepoint to fly my planes... but their doing the F3F there.... so im not sure... i might?

whats a descent plane for fermin? nothing too crazy and nothing a million dollars? i have lots of planes but no FAST frontside planes..... right now flying (limited to recievers)

100" queen bee (wing)
36" JW
60" JW
Weasel Pro
mini weasel
Sonic (bowmans FAST ds wing)

none of these planes can hang on the front of fermin... all either light lift/ds/ or goofing off.... whats a good plane out there (for a step up....

But they are attached to 100 ounce fuselages going 90 mph Best to leave the foam at home or fly it early before the sleds take to the air.

Any decent composite plane will do well at Fermin. A Mini Blade is a good start or pick up a CSD Warbird or a Vortech Warbird if you want to "fit in" ar Fermin.

Joe, a glass ship would be ideal, but barring that.... my bet is the U2 would fly very nicely there. My foam one weighs in at 42 OZ, It is a good fast frontside plane if you don't want to jump into glass quite yet.

The Electron 60 works well too... it is not just for DS. Check our vids, they were at Lake Hills on the U2 and Cajon Pass for the Electron ( except the DS section)

NO FOAM AT FERMIN!!!!!!!! Your U2 would get EAten!!!!!! We take turns with the wind--- some foam-- some glass-- NOT at the same time usually!! Take your 60" JW and attach 2 pounds to it and bring it down--- it'll fly fast with the fast foamies! But when the glass is up-- the foam is in! Let's fly!!!

Joe,

just get a brick, and tape your plane to it, that should do just fine
