S&E modeler mag plans

Why does s&e modeler magazine ship their plans in an envelope instead of a tube, 21.00 and you have to iron the things before you can use them. 5.00 for shipping and you get a envelope that cost .96 to send. By the way kinko's reduced the plans for 5.00

The extra $3 income is more important to the management at S&E than your satisfaction is.

The cost of mailing plans in a tube can be very high, especially if they are over a certain size, (30"long?). It was going to cost me about $30CAN to send a 36" tube to Britain.

Cheers,

FYI: It's not just S&EM. EFI (Traplet) sends them folded as well.
