Hi Mark, I'm definitely in the market for one of your jet drives, how much are they and can you supply without the motor coupler? not a big fan of that particular type.

had some more time to look at these again

what are they made of? looks like a chopped-carbon resin slurry or something

any plans to make a larger one?

Nice one mate, I'll be bidding for sure.

I guess you just epoxy the base of the drive to the bottom of the boat?

I placed my bid, when I win I'll need something to put it in. Are you going to have the hulls in production soon? No hurry

Hi Ben,
I fix the drive in place with some fast drying glue, I use stabilitt express, then depending on what your are thinking of doing with the boat, heavy of light action,, I nail mine in place with more carbon fibre and resin or fibreglass and resin,, you can see abit of the bond in the vid Brinksman boat build
Cheers Mate,,
Happy biddin !!

Hi flexator
You have beat the dude with the 16 bid ))
That would have been a good bargin for him at that price,,
and me,,, dead in me shed,,lmao
Yes I have some hulls and stuff. but I want to see how smooth ebay moves along with this first.. Hope all is Good, and thanks for the bid

Thank you very much for the pm David

Hi Flexator, I use high kv motors 3180kv on 5s,,
I've been using a turnigy marine 120 esc,, which has mega punch for general messing about(rivers, jumps and short sprints),,
you will need a bigger esc if you want to go racing laps on a pond....

Late Update on ebay,,(yesterday)
got a few watcher and hoping for a big ending
all the best Buds,,

You've got a bidding war on your hands Mark!

I'm out though, it's already gone past my budget. Hopefully you'll have more to auction in the future though, right?

Hi Ben :0)
might be puttin the mockers on it by talkin(curse), but yehh a little bit of action,,
hoping for mr jettec-developments, and mr kmb-jet-drives to start bidding soon, it's got to be worth paying over the odds,, just to de-construct the magic,,
but to be fair,, there are 5 hand cast and finished pieces, and it's at least 10x stonger than the plastic drives, alot faster, plus the fun factor,, it's bloody cheap,, lol.. and an extra prop,,lol.. but I would say say that :O)
Cheers Ben..

Youngsta, you're running 5S with a 3180kv motor, wouldn't that would work out to 58,830 rpm's? A 28 mm jet drive typically tops off at half that speed. Do you have a picture of your impeller? It would be interesting to see that.

Hello Sundogz
I've read a few things you have posted in the past,,
Solid logic and happy to help others,,, Top Man !!
I'm no electrician but, 18.5v x 3180kv = 58,830 rpm,,
a tubo food blender peaks at 37,000
I don't like to comment about other drives as It can come across as conceited,
and there's plenty enough of that on the net,,,
the prop is a good part of the drives performance, and rather give it to people that might copy it,, I thought it right they should pay for it,, as it has taken thousands of hours to get things to this state of readiness,,
I would like to test the drive to distruction, so I'll be hunting for a suitable motor and esc, if you could suggest a setup with great acceleration and punch, I could well give it a go,,
Thanks for the intrest and for any help
Mark..
