I hope to hear some chatter as this thing is starting to hit the shelves.
How do you compare to say the tali or phantom?

I'd say they will be going through them this week as they probably got a lot of applications.

Great video Ben, thanks for sharing.
This Quad will shake up the UAV market in a big way!
I'm looking forward to testing one for Yuneec if possible.

I've seen the specs Crazy

Sky,
I saw a demo yesterday and it looked solid. Didn't like the fpv below the controls, kind of awkward. Did like the "on the fly rate change" on the controller, could have used a ratcheted slide for that though. Quiet for sure, not sure about nimbleness, would have liked to see it go through the paces.
A worry I was told this will not be compatible with goggles?? True or False??
Sweet little setup IMO first impressions.
Looking for more opinions.

Thanks Dude

I had heard this quad and the bigger brother Hexa are the third design generation Yneec had down before coming to market. So, looks like they did lots of R&D and studied other products.
Personally I think this is a great size falling between the 350 and 800 for a quad. It's stable while still only running 4 motors to last up to 25 minutes for a 556 size.

Another thing I like due to it's design, it has little Prop Wash, which helps with being more predictable.

Wow that is interesting they had three predecessors to the Q500, no doubt the design team is ready for this one to release then.

I have no doubt the test pilot program will be a much better way of releasing the Q500 instead of taking peoples money and then changing shipping dates. Thankfully I avoided this and still could make a purchase that actually does release when they say it will.

Hopefully I will get to test fly the Q500 and the testimonials if released at the same time as release I think it could make this a very successful launch.

Also with the front to back design it looks like the camera might not pick up the propellers during a forward lean. I think it's a much simpler solution than the complicated landing gear other companies are going with.

Yuneec, it sounds like you have an audience building here, myself included. I have joined the Yuneec APV page on Facebook as well, to keep people updated this will be the best place to go.
