I also wanted to thank Ray for letting alot of us fly his demo plane, he was giving up the tx to whoever was there I got to take my turn for a few pumps with an 85oz sled and it was a blast. I MIGHT have to move beyond the 50oz catagory I am currently in.

Thanks buddy!

my buddy i was supposed to call at 7:30 to wake up never showed up.... didnt come around till 11...... then he said "i gotta be home at 4pm".... so i figured no fun to drive that far for an hour.... went to parker and got skunked...... NO wind whatsoever! enough to get the weasel in the air but all the rest of us were SOL!..... had 1 burst of around 10mph for like 15 minutes and i saw a bat fly.... kinda cool...... im DYING to fly ray's "DEMO" plane.... i bet i could hang!

First round of pics
You know there is something right about your day when it starts with continuous fly bys of a B-17, right over your house, at a low altitude.

Hey Joe,

Looks like no wind tomorrow either. Too hot.

We went up on Thursday. Nobody there except me, Bill and a couple of other guys from the shop. It was blowing west about 15. Perfect day to practice... we had a great time.

So you drive down here to Fermin and we drive up there to Parker. We're keeping the oil companies in business.

great day at fermin guys! felt good to be back after being gone 10+ years!

The maiden was a successful one! Thanx tim and kevin for the assistance! After toning down the ailerons a bit I was more stable... the cobra rolls very nice at full throw and behaves nicely. good to see u again ray!

Not sure, but I'm wanting more of the dark side. Maybe Temple next weekend, maybe Parker. Will keep you posted.

I'm out of this thread... over to you Fermin boys.
