best deals on cp2400's or 3000NiMH's??

Looking for cells to drive my endo-powered .40 size Shrike conversion.

I've found cp2400's as low as $3.50 per, and sanyo 3k's as low as $5.25

Anybody know of better prices?

I'll also consider lightly used if anyone has a surplus.

Thanks,
Shawn

Oh, Lordy.

Shawn:

What's the wingspan on the .40 Shrike? I have a .15-sized one that's getting an Endo setup too with a 9x10 prop as an experiment. Can you say "Supersonic"??

wingspan is 43 1/4"

I fly a .15 size too.......... T450 on 7 cells w/an 8X4.5 folder. Slowflyer is not the word......

The 400 one is on the board as we speak

This seems to be one airframe that only gets better w/more speed.

ALL HAIL JOE BESHAR!

Here's the 15 size one:

WOW! That's neat!

Think I'm getting carried away using an Endo in the .15??
Maybe I should settle for a Mag Mayhem or my T450?

Well, I'll just say this - with the 450/8X4.5 on 7 cells - and my flying style, It's my favorite plane from 10+ years of modeling.

I value thrust over speed, thus the lower cell count and big prop. And still, when I was @ DEAF, barring the EDF's it would have been in the top 3 as far as speed goes.

8 cells and a 6.5X4 on a Mayhem would be................dare I say it?........MAYHEM!

I'll be listening for the sonic boom
