We fly from the runway of a private airfield, so we need to keep an eye on small full size ones coming and going. That makes it really interesting. Another nice touch is the lack of trees for at least 1/2 mile in any direction. I wish we had a little pond there like you have.

Looking good. Nice smooth flying. I learned to fly on the MK 1. That was 1978. Might just build the Kestrel. Cheers. Danato

A bit of progress...

Main landing gear built, fuselage sides cut out, rear pieces for the fuselage glued to the bottom wedge, steerable nose gear made out of ply and scrap bass wood.

More to come later, possibly tomorrow.
