Overkill is underrated

I regret I cannot make it. I hope the weather makes for close competition and that no one leaves a plane on the roof. Best of luck to all! Go easy on a Toby John, we want him to come back.

Fun stuff!!!

That was a fun contest with the combo of ALES/F5J. Conditions were definitely diverse. It was fun seeing Charlie's Plus finally performing as designed. And of course Toby, pushing the limits. He had one flight that we all thought "low was going to blow," but he got over the building and pulled it off. It was fun to watch.

I like the No drop scores better. Got all the times but in the last round on a good solid approach, the plane just pancaked in for a whopping 10. All others were 50 with 1, 45 thrown in.

Great job Lee as always. We appreciate your efforts.

I definitely had a great time too. Watching some of the flights was unreal. I agree that one flight Toby had low over the building blew me away. I was sure he was doomed, but no he pulled it off. That was a highlight for sure but there were many other impressive climbs from this very talented group. I may be flying a 2M but I learn a lot and appreciate the opportunities to fly with you guys. Hanging out is always awesome too.

That was a fun day for sure. The lift was tricky to find for the first couple of rounds. Later in the day, the conditions were much better. Making your launch height the deciding factor for your score. I was fairly conservative on my launch heights. I need to take some lessons from Toby His one low low launch, and working it in the elusive low lift was quite impressive.

Thanks go to Lee for continually pulling off world class behind the scenes work and the contest itself. And for dragging the equipment back and forth to the field. Thank you Lee!

Thanks go to John as well. He has donated a radio for Jr. Going to be a bit knee buckling when I finally have to fly against my son in a round or two. He's gonna kick my
