New Product

The Syma X12/X12S Nano quadcopter

A new nano quadcopter from Syma was announced today on the Banggood website.
It's called the X12 Nano.

I am not too keen on the design but who knows maybe it flies great!
I've never seen those kind of props before on any quadcopter?
Bad news for the pinchers because it comes with a gamepad style transmitter..
(Good news for theimacman because it comes in green too! )

It is available in four different colours (black, green, red and white) at Banggood for $25.99 $21!.

Having the CX-10 to compare to, i think this will give it a run for it's money. I like what I see.
I do like the body style myself, and the red and black colors look sharp! Looks even more durable body than the Cheerson nano, with the body screws being further out and no clips! but I LOVE THAT CX-10 NANO!

These X12 blades also look much upgraded, compared to some of these other current nanos & minis
they look like they could be stiffer, with square tips and wider blade root looking more desirable.
Nice lights too, added plus with headlight
I think I'm going to have to try one of these
if it flys as good as it looks it will be great!

EDIT:
what does "3D Eversion" and "Throwing Function" mean in the product Features??
almost like they are suggesting it does multiple flips?...............................

Would like to hear a comparison to the CX10 when this hits the street. Love the CX10 but agree, those stupid body clips are pretty much a "one use deal" as they break so easily!

3D Eversion = Flips

Throwing Function = (I'm going to guess…) 6-axis stabilization and the ability to "toss" the quad, give it throttle, and have it level itself

Haha! Yeah, I am definitely getting it in green.

If we're lucky, this might bind to the X5C transmitter, like the X2 does.

i do like the looks of this little quad, especially the blade design and the body style,
not to mention the kool colors, and headlight!
I'm also a green guy, so leave me one

what would be really super kool is if these blades are good and could work with the CX-10??

Hehe, thanks. I told them I wanted green too, but it's a ways off still, so they are sending me the other colors in the meantime, so I can get the review out soon. Plan on filming this weekend, so hopefully the review will be up soon.
