Question

Vector with 3 channel plane

Sorry if it has been addressed, search results haven't shown anything for me. Can the vector be hooked up with a 3 channel plane? Rudder, elevator, throttle. IF so does rudder go to Aileron in the vector for RTH and will it make through the wizard with no rudder in the connection?
Thanks

Hello,

This has not been tested however it "should" work with the rudder connected to the aileron connection. This will depend a lot on the inherent stability of the airframe and its ability to "self right" itself as well as how much authority the rudder has for roll control. Be sure to perform a thorough ground test to ensure the control surfaces move correctly when you move the plane around in your hands. Also, be sure to have a non-stabilized mode setup on your mode switch so that it can be turned off if needed during your test flights.

Regards, John

Works fine. I have flown a 3 channel Radian motor/glider FPV using this method for years.
