Models World show in Paris 2004

Got a chance to be in Paris, while this was happening, so here are some pictures and videos.

The show is really big, but it is about models, not just R/C ones. The R/C planes demontrations were done inside, so all were electric planes and helecopters. there was like 3 shows per day, and I had no time to stay so only the morning one was recorded.

Pictures on:

First video: The Airbus A380

The A380 is still not in service. Will be coming in few years but here is already a foam A380.

Glow Hellcat. Did not fly for obvious reasons, but still amazing to watch his wings movements.

Foam unbreacable E3D plane.

Watch how at the end, the pilot says hi, while still hovering his plane, with 1 hand.

I wanted to go see this show (I'm located in Brussels, 1h30 far from Paris by train)
But I just got lazy.

Now at least I know what I missed. Thanks.

Glad you liked it.

Actually, I heard that the 2 more demonstrations done in the afternoon were amazing or they just told me that to make me feel bad leaving

Anyway, the pictures give you a little feeling of the scale of this show. Just huge. They have kind of a swimming pool for the boat demonstrations, few areas for cars R/C and many, many railways for trains.

And the best was too see that most of the visitors were not kids, but grown up people with the smile on our face the whole time, with glowing eyes like kids

They announed that an air show is coming, like every year: La Ferte Alais, by around 29th and 30th of May 2004, with real WWII and WWI flying warbirds, which due to the 60th anniversary of Operation Overlord will be coming in quantities this year. Also, like everyyear, they will do a R/C model show as well, during these 2 days.

I wish I could go....
