The Morgan Mill Battery Cartridge System

Check out this upgrade for the Carbon Z Cub.

Splash

Easily install and remove your lipos in your Carbon Z Cub.

The E-flite Carbon Z Cub is an awesome machine. It's big, it flies great and looks good in the air. Getting your batteries in and out can be a little tricky, especially if you have big hands. You can also mess up the foam around the opening. This is where the Morgan Mill tray comes in.

The Morgan Mill Battery Tray - RCGroups (3 min 30 sec)

Key Features

  • Replacement floor
  • Multi position cartridge rack
  • Easy in and out battery installation

The unit ships ready to glue together with regular CA and epoxy. This is a ten minute build that will save you a lot of frustration and will keep your CZC looking good. This is a well thought out design and I think if you fly the Carbon Z Cub it's a must have.

Morgan Mill Battery Tray Screws Question

How do you get the font screws out of the stockholder and then how do you get them back in? Putting them back in seems like it's even hard because of the gap in the new tray.

I put in the front screws first. I have keep my allen drivers on a magnetic hanger so they are magnetized. I then put the screws on the driver some how got them in the front holes. I did this three different times so it can be done.

hi Jim
did the rear end of your tray hit foam hump in the fuse ? Mine is a 1/4"to high from the rear screw holes going into the screw hole, its being held up in the air. Did you have to use longer screws? i ca ed mine together and it had a slight downward warp from the mill figured it wouldn't hurt, but now its interfering with mounting.
Any ideas with the exception of cutting foam ?? i guess i should use front 4 screws and mount a batt n cartridge and see if it flexing will matter or not. but it flexing may prevent the cartridge from even going in ??
