Castle Talon 35 ESC

I have a CC Talon 35 ESC on a Trex 450. I'm new at flying heli's so still flying in normal mode. To kind of simulate idle up my throttle curve is 0, 95, 95, 95, 95. What is strange is when I am flying and descend, only going slightly below half on the collective, I can hear the head speed go down. I am way above the point where this should happen and can't figure out why it is happening. Of course it doesn't do this when I'm in IU.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you running on governor? If you are not then you will most likely hear the headspeed drop when changing pitch with a flat throttle line. Set the curve to be more linear and see if that helps, or use a governor if your ESC has one.
