building my own...thing that i think can fly =)

dont really know if this is the right place to put this thread.
so, if its on the wrong place, then you can move it to the right. =)

well.. over to what im gonna wright about.

iv been looking around here in sweden after Depron, but its much to expensive to buy and ship it to my place.

so yesterday(monday 19/4) we hade our usual buildingday at our local Rc-Club, so i snopped(right word for it? ) there and found a elev in white-foam, aprox 60cm spann.
thought that it could be a good mainwing to my project.

so today i started to build in my...thing.
wasnt sure what motor i would use for it.. i hade one from my GWS F4U Corsair that i could use, but i thought it would be to big for the plane.
and then i hade 2engines from a CCEP LuckyStar. but one prop was broken, so i could just use the one that was Ok...
but...after some thinking i decided to take the GWS motor..
because _IF_ it would fly, i maby could make some coole manuvers with a bigger engine.

so the system ill be using is:
some GWS engine + gearbox
GWS 100 ESC
2x8.4g servos
GWS 5channel RX
1300mAh(or was it 1200) 7.2V Li-Pol

it will have just elevon(ail and elev at the same..thingy) and throttle, so i really hope this thing will fly.

and some photos

Setup No:1

Setup No:2, but ill bee using No:1

These are the best planes ever.

A few bits of foam and balsa thrown together. What hapens is they don't fly too god, so you add a bit here, take a bit off there, and then they do!

I made a chuck glider for a friends kid - decorated it with colored film, stuck stars and stripes decals on it...and he played with it all weekend.

This is a radio controlled powered chuck glider!!!

It will fly.
