Suggestions For My First Wing??? Overlord??

Well im getting the itch for a wing, the wind has been grounding my other parkfliers here, so im looking for something I can have fun with in less desireable conditions.

As I indicated, I have R/C experience with my parkfliers, but never flown a wing, nor do I know anyone locally that does. So I am looking for something docile and tough enough to handle the learning curve without 'expert instructions'

Im mainly interested in E powered, for lack of slopes in this desert...

Whaddya guys think?? best Ive come up with is the Overlord, considering I am not planning on taking the dive to LiPo's quite yet, so id like to be able to use my ni-mh 8 cell 1050's....

Just figured id ask and see what kind of suggestions I could get.
Thanks guys,
Jay

I fly several www.edgerc.com planes and building a Devastator now..
The kits have nice and clean cutted wings, elevons are sanded and the service is great!
I would say go get one!

I would say combatwings.com Xe2. It was my first wing: great, great airplane!
It is litle bit more expensive than other 48 inches wing but is tough and very durable.
I LOVED IT!
