Thanks Spaderman and Rocky Sorry about the late reply .

I am using a C5045 800kv motor, A Trunigy 80A Plush esc, Turnigy 3300mah 4S and standard servos on the eSS.

Right now I am busy building a scale 56.5" electric Edge 540 ( I call it SPAD Edge 540 G2 ). Almost ready and hope to maiden soon. Will update with more pics once the paint job is done and maiden-ed.

Once again thanks for the encouragement

Cheers samlikespad,

40 mins of airtime this morning.
Easy to launch, easy to fly, easy to land.
Great roll rate and good tight loops.
Broke a prop on the last landing, but setting the brake on the ESC should fix that.
I'll make up an alloy skid to keep the nose up off the deck on landing as well.
Overall, very happy.

FrankenSign SPAD Plane

Here is one of my CoroPlast planes.
I call this FrankenSign because of the extra rigging bolts sticking out the side and strings running nose to tail to help get rid of the flexing of the 10mil fuse.
Photo does not show them, they are under the wing.
Wing is made with all 4mm coro and span is 84" or 2133mm.
Weight 10.5# or 4.8kg.
Powered by used Homelite 25cc string trimmer engine I converted with all homemade parts.
Swings a 16x6 prop at 6700RPM.
Wheels are from a baby stroller I pulled out of the trash.
Landing gear is aluminum cut from an old electrical panel door.
It has had only one flight so far.
It is underpowered but will do a loop.
Nice large gentle flyer.
