Debonair


Did not think these things could fly. Good flying and takes hard landings well. She weighed in at 6.5 pounds with al equipment installed. Tried flying her with a magnum .46. That just was not enough power for take off. Changed to a OS .60 FP plenty of power.

Next one I build will have weight reduction.

I changed the elevator and rudder from plans worked fine. The ailerons were per plan except 4 inches from wing tip is not movable.

My SPAD Collection so far.


Nothing compared to what we have here, but these are my spads. I started with BEX's AVISPAD 7 months ago (which is still flying , now trying to learn few stuffs with my eSS and eCorrextra.

A few more Spads, a mod'd Moogi, and very quick little stick plane made out of 1 1/4'' PVC Fence pickets found at Lowes..

Yes , i had ... i took some tips from that thread when i was building it .... it was my first Spad ... Mine has a little more wingspan about 50 in .. i made it from a Combat Mod that a club did.

The second one. I made it form scratch . A-10 Inspired....

Both Planes Flys pretty good and stable ...

the "A10 Like" fly better than the MIG . But i really Enjoy Both. there just some extra satisfaction when you fly something that you did from scratch...

i havent finish the "A10" im planing to put some fake "turbines" and make a Camo Grey look with vinil ....

The A-10ish bird may not be WWII, But it would still qualify as an Open-b combat ship.
you can't nock what the full scale had on performance.
