New Ultimate EPP Bipe from nesail.com

Not much has been written about this bipe since it was just introduced. I placed an order for one along with the AXI brushless motor combo pack. It should be a hoot. The fact that it has airfoiled wings, doesn't have the cookie cutter "profile" design look (it has a formed fuse and clear canopy!) and can be flown in some wind sold me on this plane. I'm planning to spraypaint some stripes on the wing to accent it's two tone black and white look.

Take a look...

There is a video here too...

Sinyfly, I've been looking at it as well. I love the real airfoil and the weight sounds like it's perfect for an AXI. I also like the longer tail moment, should hover well.

Make sure you post as soon as you receive it.

The Ultimate bipe will hover sure...BUT it was designed for aerobatics not 3D. The airplane is faster and that's why it will fly in some wind. The wingloading is low so you can slow it down quite well but it really shines when you pour the colas to it. I am finding that it is my most commonly flown airplane this spring. I can fly in gusty conditions and still fly it easily in the parking lot. It is VERY tough and will tkae lots of abuse.

Nice plane! This one might solve the craving I've had for an Ultimate! I'll be watching for maiden and flight discussions on this one.

Was curious on what else could be used then an outrunner? I have numorous brushless setups in gws gear boxes. It seems something should fit into it. Bud

I think this plane is what I am looking for. There isn't much following posted here. Does anyone have any feedback? I'm looking to do aerobatics, parkflying, back yard flying, will try some 3d I'm sure.

also looking

I'm also looking at the Ultimate EPP Bipe for the same reasons. I wonder if there is a limited number of them flying or something else better has been offered.

I put over 100 flights on mine before I retired it. After about 75 flights the epp foam in the nose area kept tearing, from the motor torque I assume, I kept coating it with epoxy and flying it.
I remember it had some bad knife edge habits but overall was fun to fly. I think I used a Hacker A20-20 in it. I moved on to Ultrafly Ultimate after I retired the epp one.
