Shock Flyer - ETEC's -2S, 2S2P, or 3S 1200?


One more time everyone..What kind of performs and weights and times can I expect running these different packs. Motor is AXI 2208/34(broke down and bought one- now I have both the 2208/34 and/26), CC Phoniex 25, Hitec 55's and hitec 6-Electron rx...All reply's greatly appreicated!!! Jim

In my experience the 34 does better with 3s packs. - also you would be hard pressed to get it over 10 amps with a lower pitched prop - so you could use a CC10 to save some weight.

Go to http://www.flyingmodels.org/motortest/Link_e.htm - look at the amp draws and thrust for the various props on 3s and 2s. That will give you a really good starting place.

...Apogee Lipoly 830 pack, in 3S1P configuration. Our Shocky's have less weight and 10.5 proven constant discharge.
