Best Way to Gap Seal on a wing

I am modifying my Radian and set-up FLAPERON gap seal. I was thinking of using tape and powder to keep from sticking to the flap. Is there a better way or something made for gap sealing.

They used to make gap-seal tape for this purpose thats only sticky on one half. Not sure where to get it these days, though.

EDIT: Found some, but it's a bit pricey: http://www.icare-rc.com/tape.htm

RES is the answer! ;-)

What about iron on hinges? In this case it would be safer to glue them on. I've also heard about hinges made from RTV or 3M 5200. There's a thread about that right now on this forum.

Tape and power is the just about the simplest.

How about a Tape-Tube hinge?
Aluminum tubing, sandpaper, adhesive and tape.
Please think of it like the modern moldies skin hinge. Same basic thing really.

Haven't tried it yet but I think 5 mil lam film would work well since it has a heat activated adhesive. I have an Art Hobby plane I plan on trying it out on when I get it built.

This tape can be diy quite easy using two regular tape overlapped on the desired width. I did such seal for my glider V-tail.
